If a Blocklet is only associated with resources and not linked to any components, it is defined as a Resource-based Blocklet. A Resource-based Blocklet is an advanced usage intended to reuse certain resources of Blocklets.
A Resource-based application refers to a Blocklet that is not linked to any applications; such applications cannot be directly installed from the Blocklet Store, but can be installed as components within a Blocklet instance.
Here are some typical examples of Resource-based Blocklets:
- Media Kit : Through a Resource-based Blocklet, multimedia resources can be reused in other Blocklets.
- Discuss Kit : Through a Resource-based Blocklet, articles, blogs, and forum settings can be reused in other Blocklets.
- Pages Kit : Through a Resource-based Blocklet, custom components can be reused in other Blocklets.
