How does did:abt relate to DID Core?

DID Core supplies a shared model; each method supplies its own rules.

did is ArcBlock’s DID method. did: identifies the URI scheme, abt names the method, and the remainder is method-specific.

Treat the method name as an entry into a set of rules. An application receiving a did identifier needs an implementation supporting that method. Supporting DIDs does not imply supporting every method.

An object having a DID does not mean it holds a private key. For accounts and assets, continue asking who controls operations and which permissions apply. Consult the SDK and method documentation for precise encoding, role and algorithm details.
