DID Connect is the protocol component applications use to request sign-in or credential presentation, including alongside third-party accounts.

Imagine an event website asking for admission eligibility. It makes a request, the user’s tool handles it, and the website checks the response before allowing entry.

Distinguish what the website asks, what the user agrees to provide, and what the response proves. Signing in does not inherently authorize personal-space access; presenting a credential does not inherently transfer an asset. Check current integration documentation for supported request types.
