Why is Arc Space more than an identity feature?

Arc Space is a data space associated with a DID. A person can create a space and connect applications with the permissions and data model their task requires. Earlier materials use DID Space or DID Spaces.

Imagine a reading app saving notes in your space. The DID helps describe whom the space is associated with; note structure, access permissions and persistence are data-layer concerns.

That is why Arc Space belongs in the personal-data neighborhood while connecting to identity. Its former name does not reduce it to a login feature, and successful sign-in does not imply access to the whole space.
