Does presenting a Passport transfer it?
Proving eligibility and transferring an asset are different operations.
ArcBlock’s NFT / Passport presentation guide distinguishes presenting eligibility from transferring an asset. Selecting an eligible object for presentation does not transfer the NFT to the application.
Imagine entering a workshop. Its service needs evidence it can verify; it does not need to become the new holder of that object. Ask whether the request verifies eligibility or initiates a transfer, which information will be sent, and what the service will allow after verification.
No asset transfer does not mean no information disclosure. Check both the operation and the data shared. This lesson explains the documented presentation semantics; historical wallet screenshots are not evidence of the current interface.
