How does ArcBlock Chain differ from ARC?

Separate shared on-chain records from application execution.

ArcBlock Chain is an application-oriented Layer 1 positioned around identity, assets and agreements. Existing documentation also describes ledger and credential-related registry uses.

ARC hosts applications. ArcBlock Chain records and validates on-chain state. An application may use the chain without putting every interface update, document or DID operation into a transaction.

Consensus versions and operations require network-specific documentation; an early Forge implementation record does not prove current network configuration.
