DID Wallet has now entered the era of version 5 starting today!
Since we first launched the DID Wallet in 2019 (at that time it was called ABT Wallet), we have been the first digital wallet product in the world to combine digital identity wallet and digital currency wallet into one. Over the course of several years and five major versions of continuous iterations, we have been striving to create the best user experience and the most secure digital wallet with the DID Wallet.
If you didn't know about DID Wallet in the past, here is a simple introduction:
DID Wallet is a decentralized digital wallet by ArcBlock, which uses the W3C DID to manage digital identities and digital assets in a unified manner. DID Wallet supports multiple blockchain protocols, multiple digital assets, and is compatible with multiple wallet-application connection protocols (supports both DID Connect and Wallet Connect). In this version, we have brought a series of updates and improvements.
This 5.0 released is just the first one in version 5, and we will continue to iterate and introduce a series of subsequent improvements.

Version 5 New Features#
In this update, we have addressed some of the issues reported by users in previous versions, making the operation more stable and smooth. Also, we have introduced some significant new features.
Exclusive DID Spaces Give Away #
DID Wallet users can now obtain a permanent free DID Spaces space belonging to the current wallet by completing a simple quiz. This is a precious benefit, which means that every wallet user can obtain a permanent free DID Spaces space without having to pay for it. DID Spaces will play an important role in our future products and bring a lot of value to use.
Additionally, we will issue a passport to users that represents ownership rights over this space. This passport is a verifiable credential that utilizes DID technology.
In the wallet, this space will be automatically used to back up the wallet's application access records, which will be used for multi-device automatic synchronization and backup recovery in the future.
Brand new "My" Tab#
In DID Wallet V5, a dedicated "My" tab has been added. This is a brand new personal center that integrates users' personal information, passes, address book, and my applications and other functions together, making it easier for users to better manage their own data.
