Realm

A Realm is an independently controlled digital domain with its own identity, state, resources, permissions, and agency.

A Realm is identified and controlled through a DID. It does not have to represent a person. It may represent a person, an organization, a project, a software system, an AI agent, a device, or another Realm.

A Realm is not a user account. A user account exists inside somebody else's system. A Realm is controlled by its own subject.
