Revoke Waiting period
On the Arcblock blockchain, revoke a stake is divided into two steps: 1. Initiate a transaction to release the pledge. 2. After the cooling-off period ends, initiate a transaction to withdraw the assets, and only after the transaction is successful can the assets be withdrawn.
The design of the revoke waiting period is aimed at protecting the system and Blocklets from attacks by malicious actors. Malicious actors may stake the required assets and engage in improper behavior, then immediately revoke the stakes in an attempt to evade punishment. The revoke waiting period makes this evasion behavior more difficult. Blocklets should specify a reasonable revoke waiting period to ensure there is enough time to detect and respond to malicious behavior.
