How does a remote resource enter a namespace?

An application can mount a remote provider’s resource tree into its namespace. Consumers use the chosen entry point while an adapter transports requests and results. Mounting does not copy the data locally or remove latency.

Consider a laboratory device served by another process. An authorized mount makes its resources visible in a workspace. Reading state, executing control operations and receiving changes are separate capabilities to verify.

Make lifecycle decisions explicit

After disconnection, does the path remain but report unavailability, or disappear with the session? How does reconnection establish resource identity? Could a timed-out write already have executed? These belong to the lifecycle and operation contracts.

Reverse mounting also changes how a connection is established. First distinguish who initiates the connection, who chooses the mount location and who may execute operations.
