2024 has arrived, with the completion of our ArcBlock platform, our innovative technologies and solutions will drive the popularization and development of Web3. In 2023, we integrated AI based on Large Language Models (LLM) with Web3, making LLM support an indispensable part of the ArcBlock platform. We look forward to bringing positive changes and progress to the industry in this year.
January 2024: Let's start to redefine Web3.
In January 2024, we will start a new movement with the theme of "redefining Web3". In the past few years, blockchain, digital currency, decentralized applications, and Web3 have been misused as speculative tools, but we must not forget the original intention of decentralized applications, which is to promote innovation and empower users. We will strive to return to our original aspiration and establish a truly open, transparent, and democratic Web3 ecosystem.
- We will launch our new web sites. This is a truly decentralized web, built and operated entirely on our own platform, using dynamic, knowledge nodes to create a new web experience, making websites a tool for developers and users to access information and knowledge, rather than mere online promotional brochures.
- We will release an updated 2024 roadmap and our predictions for the industry's development over the next five years. We hope to gradually implement the concept of "Build in Public" in order to drive the growth of the ecosystem with our team's best practices.
These releases are not a result, but a continuous process. We will gradually unfold like a scroll and continue to coordinate with our explanations, demonstrations, and teachings. We are well aware that "redefining Web3" is a big goal, but we are ready to start with these small things.
2024, we are not alone.
The first version of the Ethereum whitepaper depicted a future of decentralized applications. However, today's Ethereum ecosystem is filled with only a "financial" flavor, and the decentralized ideals and application goals have faded away in the frenzy. Therefore, Ethereum's founder, Vitalik Buterin, is calling for a "Make Ethereum cyberpunk again" movement, which should be seen as an awakening and determination.
Similar to Ethereum's white paper, in ArcBlock's white paper, we outline our vision of the future of decentralized applications. We position ourselves as a complementary architectural system to Ethereum. While Ethereum is increasingly focused on finance, we are fortunate enough to stay true to our ultimate goal. We believe that on the path towards a decentralized application in the future, we will not be alone; there will be many fellow travelers.
