Today, we announce a series of price reductions on our services to better foster the growth of our ecosystem and enhance user experience.

We will periodically adjust prices based on factors such as market trends, ecosystem development, and user feedback. Prices may fluctuate up or down, and all changes announced today are reductions.

Specific Adjustments:

Our latest pricing adjustments span across various services, ensuring that each adjustment is sensitive to user needs and market conditions:

  • Blocklet Services: these services cover all you need to run a blocklet from computing, storage, and domain to API
    • DID Spaces: The price for a starter space previously priced at 20 ABT per month, now reduced to 1 ABT, marking a 95% decrease. Effective next billing cycle, this applies to all plans and billing periods.
    • DID Domain: The price for a domain was reduced from 1 ABT to 0.5 ABT per month, a 50% decrease. This change also becomes effective in the next billing cycle for all plans.
    • Blocklet Launcher: Adjusted from 0.1 ABT per component per day to 0.05 ABT, halving the cost. All plans will see this change in their next billing cycle.
    • AI Kit: Cut from 0.005 ABT per K Unit to 0.0025 ABT, a 50% reduction, effective in the next billing cycle across all usage. If you are self-hosting AI Studio your API cost will also reduce by 50%.
  • ArcBlock Chain Protocol Fees: Transaction gas are not changed since you can get gas-free transactions once staked
    • Create NFT Factory: Drastically reduced from 100 ABT per transaction to just 10 ABT, an impressive 90% drop. This adjustment takes effect immediately for all CreateFactory transactions, making it much easier to create a new NFT collection with NFT Studio.
    • Create NFT: From 1 ABT per transaction to 0.1 ABT, a 90% reduction, effective immediately for all CreateAsset transactions.
    • Mint NFT: Also adjusted from 1 ABT to 0.1 ABT per transaction, a 90% reduction, effective immediately for all MintAsset transactions.

Additional Notes:

  • If you purchased services from Blocklet Launcher before subscription was supported, you may need to migrate to subscription mode to enjoy the benefit of the pricing cut.
  • If you purchased spaces from DID Spaces before subscription was supported, you can choose to purchase a new space to replace the old one.
  • If you are already on subscriptions on various services, no action is required, all services will automatically adjust to the new pricing, and changes will be reflected in the next billing statement. We encourage users to review their bill amounts and reach out to the community for any queries.

  • ABT

    The token in the ArcBlock protocol. It is the unit the protocol meters and settles in, and the thing a participant locks as a bond when staking. The name has been read both as ArcBlock Token and as Advanced Blockchain Technology.

  • Blockchain

    A distributed ledger that links records cryptographically and uses shared validation and consensus rules to establish an accepted transaction history.

  • Blocklet

    A Blocklet is ARC's deployable unit. It keeps an application's declared content, configuration, and runtime needs together, so the unit being run is easier to understand and manage.
