As a platform for decentralized applications, each component on the Blocklet platform can be deployed in a decentralized manner. The user IDs under each service are independent of each other, which effectively protects privacy. However, this also brings the issue of fragmented user accounts, especially when users access services provided by ArcBlock. Therefore, version 1.16.16 of Blocklet Server introduces the functionality of cross-site login, allowing users to share the same account across multiple applications or services.
Most of the online services provided by ArcBlock currently support this feature. After enabling cross-site login, you can automatically log in to other sites as long as you log in to any site of these few sites, which means you can access all the services provided by ArcBlock using the same account.
However, after enabling cross-site login, users who have previously accessed ArcBlock's official services may find their account data 'disappearing' after logging in again, as shown in the following figure:
Don't panic at this time, your previous account has not disappeared, but a new account ID is used. Below is an example of how to get your old account back using Blocklet Launcher (The same solution may apply to other services like Blocklet Store and DID Spaces):
