Opportunity

Help expand ArcBlock's community by translating ArcBlock's core developer documenation. This is an opportunity to work with us to improve and translate existing OCAP developer documentation (https://ocap-docs.arcblock.io/) into Chinese.

Total Mining Rewards: 2,000 ABT

  • To participate, you must be a native speaker of the target language or have experience as a translator in other mining programs (send links to your previous works).
  • Update the translations according to our requirements.

We are eager to get more people involved and this hackathon is a great opportunity to wor with us, and the community, to increase the availability of our all important developer documentation.

Tasks: There are 6 content sections to translate:

  • Landing Page
  • Introduction
  • Quick Start
  • OCAP SDK
  • Tools
  • Architecture

To participate, simply visit the available issues and submit a pull request to assign yourself the task. You will need to clone the documentation and when ready create a new branch and submit a pull request. ArcBlock's team will follow-up on next steps, changes or revisions required.

Rules Definitions and Terms

  • Any translations done by automated translate tools such as Google, Baidu, Microsoft or any other transalators will not be accepted.
  • No pull requests to the master branch will be accepted.
  • You will will be officially assigned an issue only AFTER you have submitted a pull request for that issue.
  • You can only claim one issue at a time. However, new sections can be added upon completion of a task.
  • Each translation will be submitted to ArcBlock's team through a pull request.
  • Each submission will be reviewed by a team member to verify the quality of the content.
  • Payout of ABT Tokens will occur upon completion of the bounty event.
  • The amount of tokens you earn will be calculated mathematically based on the level of effort of the content translated.
  • Tokens issued will be ArcBlock's native ABT Token.
  • Not everyone may have the opportunity participate in this event. We encourage everyone to work together to improve the quality of the submissions and work in a team that utilizes someone who translates, someone who verifies, and a project manager.
  • The translations should not always be literal translations, instead focus on the end-user experience and the meaning of the native language.
  • Follow the existing styles and formatting. Any submissions where formatting or style has changed will not be accepeted.
